Privacy Policy
This policy explains how UncleVen collects, uses, stores, displays, and safeguards information, including data used when an account owner connects an authorized YouTube channel.
Information and content
UncleVen may process account, contact, profile, technical, usage, billing-support, and user-submitted content needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. Content a user chooses to publish publicly may be visible outside a signed-in account.
YouTube API Services and authorized data
UncleVen uses YouTube API Services only after the account owner connects and authorizes a YouTube account. The workflow requests the youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl scopes. It may store the authorized channel ID, selected video metadata, thumbnail, visibility and schedule choice, upload and processing status, YouTube video ID, immutable media hashes, and idempotency receipts needed to complete owner-approved actions and prevent duplicate uploads. UncleVen does not ask for or store a Google password.
YouTube data use and security
YouTube Authorized Data is used to verify the exact channel, upload owner-selected media, apply owner-selected metadata and thumbnail, confirm privacy and processing state, and reconcile uncertain network outcomes. OAuth refresh credentials are restricted server-side and are not sold, placed in browser storage, public pages, source code, media files, or ordinary application logs.
Disconnecting, revocation, and deletion
An in-product Disconnect YouTube action must revoke the credential immediately and stop future API access. Associated YouTube Authorized Data is deleted as soon as possible and no later than seven calendar days after disconnect. If access is revoked through Google, related YouTube API Data is deleted no later than 30 calendar days after revocation is detected, except where retention is legally required.
Security and privacy rights
UncleVen uses reasonable safeguards. Depending on location, users may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, transfer, objection, or withdrawal of consent. For privacy, YouTube-data, disconnection, or deletion requests, contact hello@uncleven.com.
